Seminar "Verification and Reliability in Aviation" 2022

The second seminar "Aviation. Qualification. Reliability" was held on September 13 and 14, 2022. At the seminar, representatives of the aviation industry discussed topical issues of software and hardware certification, as well as prospects for the development of drones. The organizers were the Advalange company together with Irkut Corporation.

Leading aircraft manufacturing companies, Russian software developers and representatives of the aviation authorities touched upon practical issues that arise in the development and qualification of aircraft equipment. Representatives of the Moscow Innovation Cluster of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development delivered a welcoming speech.

On the first day of the event, a plenary discussion was held on the topic "Maintaining a high level of quality and reliability of avionics in the context of breaking the chains of cooperation", which was attended by Alexander Dolotovsky, Denis Pridannikov, Alexander Tarasov, Konstantin Karasev, Alexei Gerasimov, Georgy Bautin, Mikhail Sudbin. According to the program of the seminar, after their reports, the speakers answered the questions of the listeners on the topic of their speeches. On the second day, in the final part of the event, a discussion panel was held, on which the questions received from the participants of the seminar were analyzed.

The relevance of the event was noted by Alexander Dolotovsky, Deputy Director for Development of the Regional Aircraft Branch of PJSC Irkut Corporation: “The topic of the seminar is relevant not only today, it was relevant yesterday and will be tomorrow - always, as long as the aviation industry exists. The opportunity to communicate in the informal atmosphere of the event is a way to exchange views, share achievements, talk frankly about problems and find ways to solve them together. The exchange of ideas is the most applied part of this event.”

Konstantin Napreenko, Deputy Head of the Department of the MIK Foundation of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of Moscow, noted: “The purpose of the visit is to find out firsthand what issues are currently facing the industry. One of the objectives of the seminar is to form a vector for further development and search for the optimal solution to the tasks set.”

Aleksey Gerasimov, Director of the Integration Center branch of PJSC Irkut Corporation, noted the growing interest of the aviation community in the seminar: “At the first event, the declared number of visitors was less. This year the hall was full. This indicates the relevance of the event. It provides an opportunity to exchange views and best practices in the aviation industry for their further application.”

“We are holding the second seminar in the conditions of serious changes for the Russian industry - equipment developers found themselves in conditions of constantly changing restrictions. The main difficulty for them was the disruption of supply chains, the loss of component suppliers and the need to integrate them into cooperation chains. In the current situation, the possibility of dialogue between the aviation authorities, aircraft manufacturers, developers, and suppliers is essential for the development of the industry so that it does not stop and proceeds most efficiently. We will continue to organize a platform for discussion of working issues and exchange of experience for the civil aviation industry and look forward to participants next year,” said the CEO of Advalange
Evgeny Rodin.
